A rich and glossy caramel sauce made with sweetened condensed milk, perfect for drizzling over desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously as the milk heats up, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring for about 20-25 minutes until thickened and golden brown.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt after removing from heat.
  5. Cool the caramel sauce before transferring it to an airtight container and refrigerating.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to two weeks. If too thick, warm slightly before using.
